BEFORE SHOOTING

  1. How to book your package?
    Please kindly contact us through WhatsApp to get the price list. Choose your package then ask the availability on the initial date.
    To book our package, we need your deposit of 30% from the chosen package.
    (The deposit is NON-REFUNDABLE, NO EXCEPTION)
    – For Wedding and Pre-wedding Sessions, the balance must be paid 3 days before shooting.
    – For Family or Short Sessions, the rest of the payment can be paid on the day before shooting.
  2. How do we pay?
    We are accepting deposit payment via Bank Transfer and WISE for international transfer.
    Cash only accepting for the balance payment at the day (IDR only).
  3. How long in advance to book the package?
    It’s never “too early” to book a photoshoot package, as we understand it takes a lot of preparation and discussion. However, we also accommodate “last minute” bookings as we try to manage our team’s schedule based on availability.
  4. Can we book the package with a tentative initial date?
    Yes, of course. If you’ve decided, please let us know 2 months in advance before the initial date.
  5. When is the best time to do the photoshoot?
    Basically, every photoshoot needs soft and warm sunlight to create magical pictures. This happens during the “golden hour” at sunrise (6 AM -10 AM) and sunset (3.30 PM – 6.30 PM).
    Note for Family Sessions: Please make sure the photoshoot is not during your child’s sleeping or meal time to keep them in a good and happy mood.
  6. Can we split the duration of the package?
    Sorry, we can’t split the shooting duration.
  7. Are the packages inclusive of the gown/outfit ?
    The gown is not included in the package. You can bring your own gown. We also have vendor recommendations in Bali.
  8. Do you provide drone service?
    Yes we do. Usually, drones are only used as a complement in videos
    And drone service is not included in the package, Additional charge required.
    Drone Rules: Drone service may be canceled if the location is near an airport, or in case of bad weather. If so, we will refund your drone payment.
  9. Do you have location recommendations for Pre-wedding/Couple Sessions?
    Yes, we have a list of popular locations in Bali.
  10. Where should we stay if we do a Pre-wedding/Couple Session in Bali?
    We suggest staying around the Sunset Road, Dewi Sri, or Seminyak areas to make pick-up and drop-off easier, as traffic there is generally lighter.
    Note: Pick-up and drop-off must be at the same location.
    An additional fee will apply if the drop-off location is different.
  11. What do we need to prepare before/after arriving in Bali?
    Pre-Wedding: Pack jackets, slippers, sunblock and a mini fan (if you have) before your flight. After arrival, rest well. Avoid strenuous activities that could affect your stamina and mood. Bring meals and snacks for your breakfast at the location. If possible, plan to shoot on your second day in Bali to get ample rest and preparation.
    Wedding: Ensure ample rest and avoid strenuous activity before your wedding day to enjoy every moment in a good mood.
  12. Before the shooting, May we send you some reference photos or video as examples of the styles we like?
    Yes of course! You are welcome to do so. We will adjust the poses according to your references; however, please note that we cannot guarantee the editing will look exactly the same as your reference photos, as we have our own distinctive photo/video and editing style.
    NOTE:
    Before booking our service, please make sure you have reviewed all of our photo and video results, as we are unable to accept requests to replicate other photographers’ or videographers’ work.
  13. Is there an additional transportation fee if the shooting location is far from the usual areas?
    Additional transportation fees apply for shoots inSingaraja, Negara, Bangli, Klungkung, Karangasem, Nusa Lembongan, and Nusa Penida areas.
    Extra charges also apply for photoshoots outside Bali or overseas.

DURING SHOOTING

  1. What is the photoshoot entrance fee?
    Due to the growing number of commercial photo shoots at popular tourist locations in Bali—such as lakes, beaches, mountains, waterfalls, and rice fields—many sites now require entrance or shooting fees. These fees vary by location, starting from approximately IDR 300,000.
    Please note: Entrance fees are not included in the package price.
  2. How many times can we change outfits?
    We prioritize efficiency and quality over quantity in our work. One location allows for one outfit only.
  3. Do you have any recommendations for the outfit?
    We are not strict on specific outfits. If you have any ideas or preferences, we’re open to discussion. However, we do have color recommendations to suit the background.
  4. Do we need to provide meals for you?
    Yes, you do. Meals are not included in the package.
    Pre-Wedding Session: You need to provide lunch for the team.
    Wedding Session: You need to prepare dinner for the team. For 12-16 hour Wedding Sessions, both lunch and dinner are required.
  5. What happens if it rains during the shoot?
    Pre-wedding Session: If it rains during the shoot, we can wait until it stops or change to the nearest alternative locations. If rain occurs before the shoot begins, we will assess the weather at the destination and proceed without rescheduling.
    Family Session: If it rains, we can wait or move to an indoor location (villa, hotel, etc.) but cannot reschedule.
    Note: Weather is beyond our control, but light rain can add uniqueness to photos with your consent.
  6. What if you are absent on the shooting day? (illness/unexpected event)
    This has never happened in our professional photography experience, but if an emergency arises, we will find a replacement team equally competent.

POST SHOOTING

  1. How long until we receive the files after the shoot?
    Wedding & Pre-Wedding Sessions: Photos and videos are estimated to be ready within 3-5 weeks.
    Family/Short Sessions: Photos and videos are estimated to be ready within 1-2 weeks.
    If completed earlier, we will inform you.
    And all photos and videos will be sent via Google Drive.
  2. What kind of photos will we receive?
    You will receive both the original (unedited) photos and the edited photos in JPG format, 300 DPI.
  3. What kind of videos will we receive?
    You’ll receive a landscape video and a portrait version (cropped from the landscape video)
    Videos are formatted in Full HD 1920 x 1080.
  4. Do you send RAW photos or RAW video footage?
    We don’t share RAW files. Extra charges apply if you want them.
  5. What kind of editing do you do?
    We highlight the natural beauty of Bali’s scenery by applying light adjustments using our signature tone color, as shown in our portfolio.
    We avoid heavy retouching and do not accept excessive adjustment requests.
    Please check our portfolio to ensure our editing style matches your preferences.
  6. Can we choose the photos to edit?
    Yes, of course. However, there is a time limit of around 1–2 weeks to make your selection
    If you don’t have time and prefer a faster process, you can let our editor choose the photos edit for you.
  7. Can we request a song for the video?
    Yes, but please confirm the song, as only one request is allowed. If no song is provided, we will select one without further confirmation.
  8. Can we revise the video result?
    One revision is allowed for changing or swapping scenes, but grading or new tone color revisions are not allowed.
    Please list your revision requests in detail and in timeline order (the song cannot be changed)
    Additional charges will apply for song changes.
  9. Do you keep our files after sharing them?
    Final files are saved for 2 months after all files have been completely delivered.
    Please make sure to download, save, and back them up carefully.
    We are not responsible if the files are deleted or lost after the 2-month period.
  10. What if our files are lost before they’re shared with us?
    In cases of calamity or disaster beyond our control, we will refund your payment. We will provide evidence of the incident.
  11. Do you upload clients’ photos on social media?
    Yes. All photos and videos are copyrighted to Anaka Pictures and will be used for marketing purposes only.



By sending the deposit (down payment), the client acknowledges that they have read and agreed to all the terms and information stated in the Frequently Asked Questions above.
